State Senator David Storobin has fired three top staff members from his campaign and senate office, according to a Sept. 25 article in Politicker.

According to the article, Storobin removed his campaign manager, Dave Sieling; his spokesman, Steve Stites; and his Chief of Staff, Paul Gullo.

The New York Board of Elections has rejected Abraham Tischler’s’s petition to run on the School Choice Party Line, deeming he had too many invalid signatures, The Yeshiva World writes. Felder defeated Tischler in the democratic primary last week.

In addition to defeating Abraham Tischler in the democratic primary, Simcha Felder was victorious over Republican candidate David Storobin, defeating him to appear on the conservative party line in the November election. Storobin will still appear on the Republican line, according to Gestetner Updates.

Felder defeats Tischler in State Senate District 17 Democratic Primary

Simcha Felder defeated his young rival Avraham Tischler on Thursday, collecting a resounding 65 percent margin in the Democratic primary for state Senate District 17.

Final poll results show Felder received 5,676 votes to Tischler’s 1,184.
